Welcome! We at New England Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, LLC (NERMAS) are a team committed to your wellbeing. We have a small, intimate setting where you are likely to interact with everyone as we coordinate and guide you through your visit. We want you to be very well informed and involved.
…is our patient care assistant. She will ensure that your visit from beginning to end meets all your needs and expectations. She will initiate your visit, gathering the information necessary to assist the providers in making their decisions. She also handles scheduling and a variety of other office tasks.
She, too, might be a familiar face as she worked 30 years in the UMass system, 20 of those in Gynecology Department. During that time, she received certificates for her job performance that included the Outstanding Performance Award on September 28, 1987 in Boston by Governor Michael Dukakis.
While she is dedicated to her work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves to read a good mystery, listen to her music and watch movies.
….is our General Manager. She is also a Certified Nurse-Midwife having completed her certificate and Master’s Degree in Nursing from the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing. She holds a degree in Nursing from the University of Vermont and in biology from Colby College. She handles all the behind the scenes workings of the office.
She is equally busy outside of the office, but somehow manages to keep all things running smoothly. She is actively involved in her local schools and is always up to the challenge of helping to make a difference for children. She loves spending time with her family and the chance to slow down to catch up on life.
…is our Medical Director and the only physician in the practice. He is Board Certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). He has been in practice for 15 years. He graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine with honors. He completed his Internship and Residency in OB/GYN and Fellowship in REI training at Fletcher Allen Healthcare associated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
After leaving Vermont in 2001 he practiced in North Carolina at East Carolina University where he was an Assistant Professor in the OB/GYN Department. While there he provided a full gamut of REI services.
In 2006 he came to Massachusetts, working as an Associate Professor at UMass Memorial Medical Center and the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He has since that time been the Director of the REI Division in the OB/GYN Department there and has served in many administrative roles including the Robotics Committee Chair.
In 2013 he was left UMass Memorial to form New England Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, LLC, with the goal of establishing the premier REI practice in New England.
Brian has vast clinical experience and interests but his greatest interest surrounds all aspects of minimally invasive gynecologic and reproductive surgeries which includes Robotics, Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy.
